Small Groups

The entire student body is divided into Small Groups for times of devotion, prayer, and community building among students.  Groups consist of 12-16 students and are lead by a faculty leader.  Chapel times on Fridays are for these Small Groups to meet.  At times a themed lesson is presented and discussed; at other times Bible readings and prayer are the focus of this time together.  Faculty members encourage these Small Groups to establish positive relationships with one another.  An excellent team-building opportunity happens on Stewardship Day, because these Small Groups are the service groups that go out from Western to provide various services to the surrounding communities.
