SPRING DRIVE: "LET IT RAIN"
As we turn the calendar to April, we know Spring is coming soon. God’s Creation will be renewed all around us.
We are reminded of the phrase, “April showers bring May Flowers.”
Western is completing Year 105 of God’s faithfulness. He continues to “shower us” with blessings. We pray that we will remain faithful and take seriously the calling he is giving us to train the next generation to be disciples of the King. Each day is an opportunity to plant “Kingdom Seeds” that we pray the Holy Spirit will grow in the lives of our students and each one of us. We boldly ask God to “LET IT RAIN.”
Spring is also a very busy season for completing one school year while planning for the next. While we are thankful for this school year, we are also excited about what is coming next year. We anticipate being over 300 students next year for the first time since 2010!
We humbly ask that you “shower” Western Christian High School with a gift this April. These gifts will be used for Capital Improvements as we prepare for the 2024-2025 School Year. These improvements will consist of another roof replacement, a 12-passenger van, and other facility repairs and maintenance.
As the April showers "rain down” on us this Spring, may these be reminders of God's faithfulness, our blessings, and the opportunity he gives us to bless others. Thank you in advance for your consideration to bless the mission of Western Christian High School!

Here at Western Christian High School, our mission is to live out this statement together. Since 1919, parents, grandparents, alumni and churches have united together with their faith in our mission and provided us with unwavering support. In over 100 years, Western Christian High School has sent over 8,000 students and counting into the world to build God’s Kingdom, in all 50 states and beyond.
On behalf of all of Western Christian High School, a heartfelt THANK YOU to each and every one of you! You have each made a significant impact in our ability to continuously provide the steady Christian education so many of you received yourselves here with us. It is our constant prayer that with your support, we are able to continue to train the future generations of alumni under the same mission: Learning… to Serve the King.

Give Financially
Building Fund: Gifts received here will be used for Capital Improvements that were originally not budgeted for.
Celebrate Western: Annual Fall Festival involving an online auction, meat sales, community meal, and Kids Carnival. This fund is also blessed by many cash donations and grain contributions.
Foundation: Current assets are now exceeding $4M. Gifts to this fund provide long term financial stability for Western Christian High School.
NICSTO: Donors will receive a State of Iowa 75% tax credit in giving to this account, which in return allows us to bless families with tuition scholarships.
Spring Drive: Contributions to this fund are used for planned Capital Improvements in order to prepare our facility for the next school year.
Tuition Assistance: This fund allows for financial assistance to families regardless of income or state residence. -

Founded in 1919, Western Academy began as a four-year academic community accommodating grades 9-12. Renamed in the 1930s to Western Christian High School, the mission and values remain the same. Western Christian High School is dedicated to equipping our students to be faithful stewards of God’s Word.
