Iowa STEM BEST Program Award Recipient
Western Christian High School is honored to be among the 21 school districts receiving this grant!
A HUGE thanks to the generous grant from the Iowa Governor's STEM Advisory Council, we are set to enhance and expand our innovative JumpSTART Pathway & CTE Program. The $40,000 investment will fuel curriculum development, educator training, and dynamic work-based learning environments, ensuring that our students will receive cutting-edge education and well-prepared for the workforce. Founded in 1919, Western Academy began as a four-year academic community accommodating grades 9-12. Renamed in the 1930s to Western Christian High School, the mission and values remain the same. Western Christian High School is dedicated to equipping our students to be faithful stewards of God’s Word.
