WISHING A HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO... Amera Faber & Sophia Pausma!
GENERAL:
- Thank you for your outstanding cooperation in adapting to the new "no smartphone policy" as we started this year! We’re going to take it one step further: Please remember to turn off your phones before putting them in the slots when you arrive at school—our front office staff can only handle so many buzzing distractions before they lose it! Let’s keep their sanity intact.
- Twenty seven days until the Dutch students are at school. Two of the guys still need a home and a family willing to host them for their three week stay. Junior and Senior guys? Contract Carey Van Donselaar at careyvandonselaar@westernchristianhs.com.
- Email Ms. Jeltema by Thursday, October 3 if you are interested in going to Spain in the Spring.
- A thank-you note will be sent to Ms. Tairin VT for leading chapel last week. We’d also love to send her encouragement from students. Would you be willing to write a note to encourage her in her 20+ year commitment to sharing Jesus with people in Africa? And, would you be willing to contribute to a financial gift from Western for her? A donation container will be placed in the HUB and near the coffee shop. You can donate spare change, or you can donate more if you feel like this is something worth your donation. No pressure, just an invitation. All donations will be sent in 2 weeks

Founded in 1919, Western Academy began as a four-year academic community accommodating grades 9-12. Renamed in the 1930s to Western Christian High School, the mission and values remain the same.
