    SCHEDULE: Activity Schedule–Preparations for Stewardship Day
     
    GENERAL: 
    - Happy Heartland Week: Reminder we will start at 8:25am on Wednesday this week, NOT 9:30am. Plan accordingly and don’t be late! No School Thursday and Friday! Enjoy your break!
    - Juniors who have not paid for the PSAT yet, please take care of that by tomorrow!
    - Reminder to sign up for homecoming activities, as well as prepare for the change war!  Check your email from Hailey Ammons on Friday morning!!
    - Mrs. Khang’s faithpack, please make sure to go to Ms. Talsma's room (Room 307) today.
    - Sioux County Index Reporter is looking for an intern to cover Western events. You would take pictures and write a little information about the events to be published in the newspaper. If interested see Mrs. de Boom.
    - Mrs. de Boom’s and Mr. Lewison’s Faithpacks will be making freezer meals to bless others for Stewardship Day. A spreadsheet was emailed out yesterday for you to provide names of individuals and families that you would like to be blessed with this project. Thanks!
    - Remember that everyone goes to their Faithpack meeting place (unless noted otherwise here on announcements) during the activity period time today.  There will be a bell to dismiss from there for a morning break!
     
    ATHLETICS:
    - The home cross country meet tonight has been canceled. 
    - JVR, JV, and Varsity volleyball are at MOC/FV tonight for a matchup of ranked teams. JVR and JV games start at 5:30 with the varsity game to follow at 7:00. Bus leaves WC at 4:05.

    SCHEDULE: Regular 8-Period Schedule

    GENERAL:

    – HOMECOMING REPS: Please meet in front of the office at 9:50 today for a photo.
    - Anyone interested in serving in Mexico in March needs to contact Mrs. Minderhoud or Carey Van Donselaar by this Wednesday. If there is enough interest we will proceed with this trip.
    – Juniors and seniors who are in or have completed Spanish 3…if you are interested in going to Spain during Spring break, bring a parent or guardian to a meeting tonight at 6:30 to learn more. Go to room 209.
    - Juniors who have not paid for PSAT yet, please do so this week!
    - Life Skills will meet in the art room today.

    ATHLETICS:
    - We host a JVR volleyball tournament tonight starting at 4:30. Please make sure the East girls' locker room is cleared out at the end of the day.

Founded in 1919, Western Academy began as a four-year academic community accommodating grades 9-12. Renamed in the 1930s to Western Christian High School, the mission and values remain the same.
