    GENERAL:
    - Seniors — please remember to sign in and out for open campus. There is a separate sheet for this in the office.
    Individual Speech meets today after school in the HUB. Registration for Districts is due tomorrow. If you are not present, you will not be registered for Districts! Contact Miss Bierma or Ms. Jeltema with any questions.  
    - We are running an Activity schedule today, meet in the Event's Center after 1st.

    AG/FFA:
    - Strawberry packets are due today! Please deliver them to the Ag Room before 3:30. 
    - State Band/Choir Letter of recommendation are due this Thursday, February 12.

    ATHLETICS:
    - Boys basketball is at Heelan tonight. All three levels play tonight with the JVR starting at 4:00. The bus will depart at 2:15; please dismiss fresh and jv  players at 2:00.  Varsity guys will leave after school.
    - The boys' wrestling team is having a joint practice tonight at West Lyon. Please dismiss at 3:00; vehicles leave at 3:15.

    ATHLETICS:
    - Girls' basketball at Spirit Lake tonight. Bus leaves at 3:45. JV girls play at 6, Varsity at 7:15.
    - Boys wrestling is scrimmaging at West Lyon tonight. They will leave right after school at 3:40.
    -Tonight is Dance Team Night at 7:00 pm.  Both Western dance teams will be joined by 2 other teams and 2 studios for a great night of dancing.  It'd be great to see some students and staff tonight!

Founded in 1919, Western Academy began as a four-year academic community accommodating grades 9-12. Renamed in the 1930s to Western Christian High School, the mission and values remain the same.
