  GENERAL: 

  - If you’re interested in joining choir next year, please be sure to sign up for a voice check or audition for next Monday/Tuesday using this link: mrsvermeerauditions.youcanbook.me
  - Chapel today is a celebration of the Class of 2026--looking back and looking forward.  Come ready to worship our God all together one more time (Fr-Jr will have one more chapel next week). Faithpacks will not meet today.  (We will meet next week.)
  - Does your family want to host a Dutch student this fall? These students are here for only three weeks which will fall sometime between September 18 - November 6. The WC students who host will get the first opportunity to take part in the last exchange to the Netherlands in Spring 2027. Please contact carey.vandonselaar@westernchristianhs.com by Monday, May 18 if you are interested. Host families to be decided by the end of May.
  - If you are interested in going to Washington D.C. next year but missed the informational meeting last night, talk to Miss Bierma to have the registration form sent to you and to pick up a flyer.

  ATHLETICS:

  - Girls and boys track and field have their district qualifying meet tonight at Sioux Central. Please dismiss at 1:15, but leaves at 1:30. The meet starts at 4:00. 
  - Girls and boys soccer play vs Sheldon tonight. The boys are home and the girls are away. The bus for the girls' team leaves at 3:45 with the JV game starting at 5:00. The boys JV game starts at 4:30 with the varsity to follow.

  - May 12: There is a meeting TONIGHT at 7:00 in the HUB for anyone interested in going to Washington D.C. during spring break next year. Please bring a parent with you. If you have any questions, talk to Mr. Broersma or Miss Bierma.
  - Beginning Friday, Breakfast will be served until supplies are gone. I will keep you posted as to how limited it will be so you are not surprised that nothing is left. Friday will have most items.
  - Tuesday, May 12: Students interested in serving on Student Council for the 2026–27 school year are invited to attend an informational meeting in the HUB tonight at 6:00 PM.   - Academic intervention assignments went out on Friday. Check your email to see if you were assigned!

  - Concert Choir students, please head to the EC at 9:50 (last 5 min of 2nd) for a combined rehearsal.
  - Monday, May 11 - Students interested in serving on Student Council for the 2026–27 school year are invited to attend an informational meeting in the HUB on Tuesday, May 12, at 6:00 PM.   - This is a reminder that the AP Calculus Exam is running TODAY in the Life Skills room from 8AM - NOON.

  *Please remember that this is a time of great importance for our fellow students who have worked diligently to prepare. To support them, we ask that all students remain especially quiet on the second floor throughout the morning.
