    SCHEDULE: Odd Blocks/PL–9:25AM Start
     
    GENERAL: 
    - The deadline to sign up for the spring break trip to Washington D.C. is now September 14. Any sophomores, juniors, or seniors who are interested should talk to Miss Bierma or Mr. Broersma. More info and details can be found posted on their classroom doors.
    - Juniors in Algebra 2 or above interested in taking the PSAT must sing up with Mrs. Wilson by September 18!
    - Lost and found items are located in the hallway by the big gym. There are already several items there, so if you’re missing something, that would be a good place to check. 
    - We have chapel tomorrow and everyone should go directly to the EC--we will meet with our Faithpacks after that.
     
    COLLEGE ANNOUNCEMENTS: 
    - Seniors, please remember to sign up to meet with Mrs. Khang for senior meetings during your study hall period. If you don’t have a study hall, please coordinate ahead of time with your teacher for the class period you are missing to make up any classwork. The link to sign up is in the google class of 2027.

    SCHEDULE: Regular 8-Period Schedule
     
    GENERAL: 
    - The Mexico trip meeting  is tomorrow (9/9)! Anyone with the slightest interest should be in Minderhoud’s room (208) at 9:09 AM Wednesday morning.
    - Just over 90% of you had your parking tags visible on your rearview mirror or dashboard—great job! Thank you! If you are driving to school and have not yet received a parking tag, please see Kathy in the office.
    - Juniors in Algebra or above interested in taking the PSAT need to sign up with Mrs. Wilson by Friday, September 18

    Ag/FFA: 
    - Mums can be picked up after school this Friday.

    ATHLETICS:
    - Cross Country is at Sibley-O tonight. Bus leaves at 3:15, please dismiss all cross country runners at 3:00.
    - We host a JV volleyball tournament tonight. Please have both east locker rooms cleared out at the end of the day.

Founded in 1919, Western Academy began as a four-year academic community accommodating grades 9-12. Renamed in the 1930s to Western Christian High School, the mission and values remain the same.
