    Western Christian High School, Hull, IA: Seeking High School English Teacher!
    Duties: Western Christian High School is seeking a passionate and dedicated High School English Teacher to join our team and teach a range of courses, including grammar and literature, while fostering academic excellence and spiritual growth in a Christ-centered environment. The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with state and local standards, assign and grade homework, administer tests, track student progress, and select appropriate curriculum materials. This role also includes creating and maintaining a safe, structured, respectful, and Christian classroom environment, facilitating distinctively Christian instruction and assessment, and collaborating with students, parents, colleagues, and administrators to support student success. The ideal candidate will hold a current teaching license, demonstrate proven success as an English teacher, and bring strong skills in planning, communication, collaboration, and classroom leadership. A commitment to professional growth, modeling Christ-like character, and supporting the mission of Western Christian High School is essential, along with a genuine love for teaching, learning, and serving others.
     
    Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in education or foreign equivalent.
